Sixth Annual Unclaimed Property Educational Summit held in Philadelphia - April 28, 2010

Unclaimed Property Summit The Keane Unclaimed Property Services Division recently held its Unclaimed Property Education Summit for a sixth consecutive year. The summit was held in Philadelphia and saw record attendance. Summit attendees ranged from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies and represented a variety of industries.

98% of this year’s attendees rated this year’s summits as Excellent or above average.

Unclaimed Property  Breakout

The theme of the event was “Go Green with Keane”.  The presentation focused on the benefits of unclaimed property compliance with a comprehensive overview of reporting requirements, enforcements efforts and trends.  The principal Keane speakers were Debbie Zumoff, Chief Compliance Officer; Laura Lane, UPSD Vice President from Keane’s Cleveland office; Sonia Walwyn, UPSD Vice President from Keane’s Chicago office;  Janeá Matchett, Senior Project Manager from Keane’s Atlanta office;  and Freda Pepper, Keane's Compliance Director.  Speakers and attendees also participated in smaller break-out sessions on topics including, Remediation, Corporate Asset Recovery, and Securities-related issues.
